ADRIAN, Mich. – The MSOE men's hockey team went toe-to-toe with #2 Adrian College, falling in heartbreaking fashion 3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• #2 Adrian (3-1-1, 3-0-0 NCHA) attacked their first power play opportunity just minutes into the game for the early lead. Seth Bernard kept hit hot streak going with goal midway through to help tie up the game heading into the first intermission knotted at one.
• Neither team found the back of the net in the second period, but it was the Bulldogs in the third period to break the silence. MSOE (2-2-1, 0-2-1 NCHA) didn't back down as Casey Roepke scored his first of the season to tie it up at two. As it seemed the game would head to an extra period, the Bulldogs in the final seconds took the advantage to escape with the win.
