NEW ULM, Wis. – A large second-half run from the MSOE men's basketball team allowed them to walk away with ease defeating Martin Luther College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Donovan Carter got the scoring started with a layup for MSOE (1-1, 0-0 NACC) before leading them to a lead as large as 12 with just under eight minutes to play in the first half. Martin Luther (0-2, 0-0 UMAC) closed to within five with three minutes but was immediately by Carter as they held a three-point lead at the break.
- A and-one from Mason Dopriak immediately gave the Raiders a double-digit lead out of the intermission. The Raiders then blew past the Knights, taking a 24-point lead after a jumper from Quinn Miskowksi. Brock Adams capped off the scoring for the Raiders with a three pointer to give them the first win of the season.
