ADRIAN, Mich. – MSOE men's hockey goalie Austin Schwab was named one of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) 3 Stars of the Week after a stellar performance in net last weekend.

The goalkeeper made a combined 76 saves in a pair of losses at No. 2 Adrian. He tallied 34 saves during Friday's series opener and gave up three goals. The sophomore had 11 saves in the 1st, 13 in the 2nd and 10 to close out the final period. Schwab played even better during Saturday's matchup with 42 saves in an overtime defeat, while giving up three goals. The Snohomish, Wash., native rejected 15 shots in the opening period, 13 in each of the 2nd and 3rd stanzas before turning away a shot in overtime.

The Raiders return home this weekend as they host University of Dubuque for the first time in program history, kicking off on Friday, November 17^th at 7:00 PM.
