DE PERE, Wis. – The MSOE men's hockey team had killer power plays in the first period but couldn't stop St. Norbert College the rest of the way.
FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 2
RV St. Norbert - 4
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As opposed to last night's battle, the two were quiet for the first 15 minutes with zero goals scored. A power play opportunity for MSOE (6-5-1, 2-5-1 NCHA) allowed to strike first as Seth Bernard found Kevin Paginini. St. Norbert (9-4-0, 7-1-0 NCHA) answered in what they thought would close out the first period, but another power play opportunity for the Raiders allowed them to take a 2-1 lead from Carson Jones.
- The high powering attack from the Green Knight offense emerged in the second period as the Raider allowed three goals in the period to go down 4-2. The final period remained quiet on both sides offensively, as the Raiders stopped the Green Knights from scoring. However, the Raiders couldn't cut into their deficit at all.
