HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two traded baskets for the first five minutes but Anay Amoah went on a run to give MSOE (4-8, 1-4 NACC) a 19-10 lead midway through the half. Carroll (8-5, 1-3 CCIW) didn't waste anytime however, retaking the lead with six minutes remaining as the sides traded baskets yet again. Mason Dopirak gave the Raiders comfort as the half winded down, dropping in the final five points for a 36-31 lead.
- The Pioneers came out of the break to cut the deficit to three it stayed that way for the next few minutes. A steal from Quinn Miskowski that led to a Donovan Carter layup gave the crowd life, only to be topped by Jess Hartman three-pointer on the next possession to bring the lead back to eight. While the Pioneers kept making attempts working their way to within two, the Raiders continued to cushion their lead for back-to-back wins.
