LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Traveling down to the northern suburbs of Chicago, the MSOE women's volleyball came up short in three competitive matches against Lake Forest College Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (3-5) jumped first into a run before Lake Forest (4-1) quickly answered. Through the midway point, the Foresters rattled off six straight, but was no match for the Raiders as they took five straight of their own. The trading of the blows landed on the side of the Forester in the first set, winning 25-21.
- Emma Schattschneider got the Raiders rolling to begin the second set on a 7-0 run with her three straight kills. The Foresters slowed worked their back, eventually tying the set at 18. The shades of set one worked their way into set two as the Foresters were the last to serve, giving them the victory 25-22.
- The Foresters rolled their momentum right into the third set with a 10-2 lead. While the Raiders found an eventual spark, they couldn't sustain any long run to work back into the set. Ultimately, the Foresters finished it off 25-17 to finish off the match.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Foresters finally broke their long streak of falling to the Raiders, as this is their first victory since 2012. The Raiders had taken four straight before tonight, with the last matchup coming in the 2021 spring season.
