MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's soccer opened up NACC play on Wednesday evening, welcoming Alverno to Viets Field. The Raiders scored early and often, putting the game away quickly and not allowing the Inferno a single chance to score in their first conference win of the year.

MSOE Raiders – 9

HOW IT HAPPENED

• It took MSOE (5-0-2, 1-0 NACC) just over eight minutes to score the game winning goal against Alverno (0-3, 0-1 NACC) this evening as the strike from Leena Afifi was all they needed to put the game in the win column. However, the Raiders offense was far from done doing damage.
• The Red & White netted seven first half goals with Afifi getting another to go along with tallies from Olivia Carroll, Filippa Bodecker, Rosario Etcheverria Abuin, and Olivia Zersen.
• Claire Bradford and Daphne Milkert provided the scoring for MSOE in the second half as the Raiders didn't allow a single shot on goal in the 9-0 blowout of the Inferno.

RAIDER REMARKS

• The Raiders have still never dropped a contest to Alverno and ran their record to 26-0 with the victory.
• MSOE has scored an average of 7.65 goals in each game against the Inferno in a series that dates back to 2001.
