FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The MSOE women's soccer team put their last game in the past and got back to their scoring ways, dominating the offensive attack to defeat the Marian University Sabres Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (8-1-2, 4-1-0 NACC) had plenty of opportunities to find the back of the net but couldn't get any to sneak through. In the 37th minute, Grace Quinn took it herself to squeeze one past to get the Raiders on the board. Just one minute later, the Raiders struck again as Hannah Zastrow passed to Leena Afifi and quickly found Elizabeth Kuhn for a goal, heading into the break leading 2-0.
- The Raiders continued to dominate their side of the attacking zone to put the game away. Emma Halverson took a free kick to squeak right past the goalie to put the game 3-0, while Afifi grabbed her eighth goal of the season, taking the feed from Quinn into the middle. While Marian (4-3-3, 3-2-0 NACC) finally got onto the scoreboard on a penalty kick, they couldn't create anything else.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders continue their long streak against the Sabres, winning the last seven matchups, not giving up more than one goal in all matches.
