HOW IT HAPPENED
- A jumper from Carson Cordelli got the night started as MSOE (6-9, 3-5 NACC) held the advantage until the 12:51 mark when Concordia Chicago (7-7, 4-5 NACC) nailed a three-pointer to take their first lead of the game. The Raiders immediately answered with free throws from Mas. Dopirak and a three pointer from Mat. Dopirak to retake the lead 16-14.
- Three straight possessions of three-pointers drilled by the Raiders put the Raiders up 10 with five minutes remaining in the half, 33-23. The Cougars wouldn't allow the Raiders momentum going any further the rest of the half, heading into the break down 44-36. The Cougars coming out of half closed in their deficit immediately, down by just one five minutes in 52-51. CUC retook the lead at the 11:46 mark and took their largest lead of the night at 62-58.
- Mas. Dopirak and Donovan Carter each nailed in shots to retake the lead a minute later and a three pointer from Chase Cummings blasted the momentum to the Raiders for a 68-62 lead with 8:24 remaining. The Cougars continued to try and halt the Raiders as it became a two-point game with 4:43 remaining, but as the clocked continued to tick down, the Raiders put things away as they closed on a 6-0 run in the final two minutes to seal it.
