UW Stout - 2
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (8-5-2, 2-5-1 NCHA) found themselves trailing early after UW Stout found the back of the net less than four minutes into the game. With under three minutes to play in the first period, the Raiders answered back not once, but twice to take a 2-1 lead. Gramm McCormack tallied the game tying goal on assists from Jacob Bosse and Brennan Dickey, and mere moments later, Dickey would bury one in the back of the net for the go-ahead goal.
- The Raiders would score again in the second period, this time on the power play, as Bosse was able to score just 50 seconds into the power play, giving the Raiders a 3-1 lead.
- Stout would score with 46 seconds left in the game to bring it within a goal at 3-2, but McCormick would score 16 seconds later as the Raiders slammed the door shut on the Blue Devils.
