HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (10-4-1, 6-1-1 NACC) took just 40 seconds to find the back of the net against Rockford (3-10-2, 0-8-1) as Elizabeth Kuhn setup Grace Quinn for the opening score, with the Raiders setting the tone in the first minute of play. Quinn would record her second goal of the game unassisted at the 11:22 mark of the first half to extend the Raiders lead while they continued to control the pitch.
- Quinn would tally an assist at the midway point of the first half as she continued to stuff the stat sheet, finding Rosario Etcheverria Abuin in stride as the junior converted her opportunity to extend the Raider lead to 3-0. Kit Gormley would record her second goal of the season unassisted at the 31:19 mark as the Red and White dominated the first half against the Regents, recording 17 shots while holding Rockford shotless across the first 45 minutes.
- The Raiders would use 15 substitutes in the second half, as MSOE would outshoot Rockford 31-0 across the 90 minutes of play. After shutting the door on Rockford, the Raiders are winners in four of their last five games including three straight shutouts, with just four regular season contests left on the schedule.
