HOW IT HAPPENED
Shaw improved his time from his opening season victory to 25:20.8, finishing in seventh place and moving two fourth in program history.
Xander Gottner ran a season best 25:35.7, with McPeak having the race of his life to finish in 18
th place, running
25:38.7 for the ninth-best time in program history. Freshman
Nolan Pinion skipped the 26-minute time-block on his career, running 25:59.3 to finish in 29
th place, while rounding out the scoring was
Kolby Dax in 32
nd place running 26:04.0.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will have their race before the postseason racing begins on Saturday, October 19
th, when they make the trip across the state to the Jim Drews Invitational, hosted by University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The race is set to start at 11:45 AM.
