NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Finishing just 29 points back of the No. 14 ranked team in the country, the MSOE men's cross country team top-10 program bests from Adam Shaw and Sam McPeak to finish second at the Running of the Cows.

Adam Shaw – 7^th place (25:20.8)

HOW IT HAPPENED   
Shaw improved his time from his opening season victory to 25:20.8, finishing in seventh place and moving two fourth in program history. Xander Gottner ran a season best 25:35.7, with McPeak having the race of his life to finish in 18^th place, running
25:38.7 for the ninth-best time in program history. Freshman Nolan Pinion skipped the 26-minute time-block on his career, running 25:59.3 to finish in 29^th place, while rounding out the scoring was Kolby Dax in 32^nd place running 26:04.0.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will have their race before the postseason racing begins on Saturday, October 19^th, when they make the trip across the state to the Jim Drews Invitational, hosted by University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The race is set to start at 11:45 AM.
