MSOE Raider Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Announced

Milwaukee School of Engineering is pleased to announce six former student-athletes will make up the 2025 induction class for the MSOE Athletic Hall of Fame.

Cortney (Femling) Gerbers '06, Dane Zachman '12, Dan Hosko '12, Jordan Werner '13, Jessica Axt '13 and Jonathan Allen '15 will be inducted during a ceremony and banquet at the Kern Center on Feb. 15, 2025.

Gerbers, a women's basketball player from 2002-2006, made an immediate impact the moment she stepped onto the court for the Red and White, having been voted team MVP as a freshman during the 02-03 season.  Gerbers was again voted MVP by her teammates in her sophomore season where she was also recognized as a member of the All-Lake Michigan Conference first team.  After a third consecutive team MVP award during her junior season, Gerbers closed out her career at MSOE being named the Women's Senior Athlete of the Year after surpassing 1,000 points scored, solidifying her name across the program record books.  Gerbers currently sits Top 10 for most women's basketball records at MSOE, including career rebounds, free throws, three-pointers, points and games played, while also holding the MSOE records for both assists and steals in a career.

Zachman, a member of the men's golf team from 2008-12, was a four-time all-conference selection for the Raiders, including leading the program to conference championships in 08-09 and 10-11 seasons, which in turn led to the first NCAA tournament berths in program history.  Zachman was named NAC Player of the Year and was a conference championship medalist in 2011, ranking 71st nationally among Division III players during his junior season.  Zachman finished his career with the school records for career scoring average (77.04) and rounds of par or better (9), while also sitting second in school history with four individual wins.

Hosko, a men's soccer player from 2008-2011, finished his career 6th all-time in goals scored and 5th all-time in both assists and points. As the former team captain, he was also a driving force behind the team's success in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.  A two-time first team all-conference selection, Hosko logged eleven goals and nine assists in his final season with the Red and White, including game winning goals against Rockford and Benedictine.

Werner, a member of both the soccer and track & field teams, was a decorated athlete for the Red and White on the pitch and the track.  Werner started his career being name to the 2009 NAC all-freshman team for soccer, while also earning the 2010 NAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship freshman of the meet award.  Werner would go on to be named 2013 Senior Men's Athlete of the Year at MSOE after being named NAC Offensive Player of the Year, first team all-conference and first team all-region for soccer. He would follow it up earning the NAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship Track Athlete of the Meet to close out his career.  Werner currently holds the MSOE records for the indoor 55m, 60m and 200m, as well as the outdoor 200m.  Werner is also a member of the record-holding 4x400 relay team for the Raiders.

Axt, a women's soccer player from 2008-2011, holds both the records for career goals and single season goals. In 2011, Axt led all of Division III women's soccer with 28 goals scored, including six game-winners. Axt was named first-team all-conference in 2011 as well as the conference's offensive player of the year award before being named MSOE's Senior Women's Athlete of the Year.  Axt also earned first team all-conference and all-freshman honors in 2008, as well as a second-team all-conference berth in 2010. She finished her MSOE career 2nd in career points.

Jonathan Allen, a member of the MSOE rowing team from 2011-2014, was a former team captain and MVP during his tenure with the Red and White. He was a leader for an MSOE crew that captured a championship at the MARC Regatta in 2013, while also being a grand finalist at both the IRA National Championships and the Dad Vail Regatta. Allen is the record holder in the lightweight 2K for the Raiders and earned the Lightweight Hammer Award in 2013.
