MILWAUKEE – In a tension filled match from start to finish, a hot start from #7 Adrian College proved major as the MSOE men's hockey team falls in their first time in action in over two weeks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The offense for Adrian (8-3-0, 5-2-0 NCHA) came out to play immediately, scoring 2:48 into the game and then at the six-minute mark for a quick 2-0 lead. Just before the end of the period, the Bulldogs netted another to sit comfortably at the first break, 3-0.
- Both offenses began to slow down from there as the Bulldogs only outshot MSOE (3-6-1, 2-5-0 NCHA) five to four. Despite the low shot totals, the Bulldogs added to the lead early in the period for a 4-0 lead, then extending it in the third, converting on the power play, to lead 5-0. Eddie Shepler was finally able to break the shutout just shortly after from Carson Jones, along with Adam Smith getting in on the action scoring as well, but the margin was just too much.
