Mequon, Wis. – The MSOE women's basketball team took on the Stars of Dominican University on Saturday afternoon. The Raiders were in the driver's seat all game and cruised to a 61-33 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (16-7, 10-4 NACC) found themselves trailing Dominican (1-22, 0-14 NACC) early, but Dani Mendez would score the first of her 15 points to tie the game up at five points apiece. The Raiders would hold the lead the rest of the way after a Halena Hill free throw put MSOE on top. The Raiders expanded their lead in the second quarter, getting to the rim at will, and holding the Stars to 11.1% from the field. Following a Chloe Kurkjian layup, the Raiders went into halftime up 29-14.
- The Raiders and Stars would duke it out in an evenly matched third quarter, with the forwards of MSOE consistently getting to the basket. Kurkjian dominated on the glass as she racked up 10 rebounds, as the Raiders finished the third quarter ahead, 42-24. It was all MSOE down the stretch, as the Raiders bench got in on the action, MSOE outscored the Stars 19-9 in the fourth on the way to a 61-33 victory.
