MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's basketball celebrated it senior day on Saturday afternoon, taking down Aurora University in the final seconds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Each side trade buckets to start before the Dopirak brothers rattled off the next seven points to give MSOE (9-12, 6-8 NACC) a 9-2 lead nearly two minutes in. Aurora (7-14, 4-10 NACC) eventually found their back into it, tying it up at 11, starting a back and forth and taking their first lead 22-21 with 8:30 remaining in the half. Donovan Carter nailing a three-pointer pulled the momentum over the Raiders as then Mason Dopirak converted on an and-one attempt for a five point, eventually holding that advantage into the break, 37-32.
- The Spartans refused to let the Raiders take off on any long run in the second half, bring themselves back to within one multiple times. With under eight minutes remaining, Max Beuthin connected from deep for a four-point lead when on the two possessions, Matus Dopirak knocked in two free throws and a jumper to give the Raiders their largest lead of the day at eight, 61-53.
- As the clock began to trickle down, the Spartans finally found their stride to retake the lead, tying up the game at 65 with a minute and half remaining. With under a minute to play, Carter drove through the lane for a big-time and-one for a three-point lead. After shutting them down on their final possession, Beuthin put the final nails in the coffin with two free-throws to seal it 70-65.
