MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's basketball caught fire in the second half from three point range to roll past Concordia University Wisconsin Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• A quick start from MSOE (10-12, 7-8 NACC) after Mason Dopirak knocked down a three pointer was quickly matched by Concordia Wisconsin (9-13, 8-7 NACC) as they took over with an 8-7 lead just over two minutes in. The Raiders retook the lead minutes later after Donovan Carter was good from deep, but the Falcons weren't phased as they matched a three-pointer of their own on their next possession, holding a six-point lead at the break, 40-34.
• The Raiders turned to the three-point shot in the second half to cut into their deficit and it paid off as Dopirak knocked one two different times to cut into one and Aidan Blackmon cashed one four minutes in to take the lead 47-46. The Falcons continued to put the heat on, eventually tying up the game at 57 with eleven minutes to play, but back-to-back threes from Chase Cummings and Dopirak brought the momentum fully onto the Raiders side as they continued to stay hot from three to cruise the rest of the way.
