MSOE RAIDERS – 3
Concordia Wisconsin - 0
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The sides almost traded mini runs to begin before MSOE (8-7, 4-2 NACC) took a 4-0 run to take an 11-7 lead. The Raiders continued to extend their lead after kills from Thomas and Carter Shavitz up to 16-11, but Concordia Wisconsin (8-6, 4-1 NACC) found some fire and brought the set two within three down 21-18. The rowdy atmosphere gave the Raiders the edge late as John Wolf sealed it 25-20.
- The Raiders slowly built up their lead in set two, eventually taking a 21-13 lead after a kill from Thomas. The Falcons once again tried to find away to spoil it with a 4-0 run but was hauled by the Raiders ending it with a kill from Thomas to take it 25-18. The Falcons couldn't stay sound offensively in set three, giving free points to the Raiders and cruised by easily 25-19 to sweep.
