WHEATON, Ill. – MSOE women's soccer kicked off their 2024 season on Friday afternoon as they squared off against the Thunder of Wheaton College. After a low scoring first half, the Raiders offense let loose in a 5-goal second half to come out victorious in their debut.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (1-0) and Wheaton (0-1) were deadlocked 1-1 after the first 45 minutes of play, as the Thunder outshot the Raiders 6-3. Jackie Keane tallied the first Raiders goal of the season just 34 seconds into the contest, thanks to a slick feed from Elizabeth Kuhn.
- After a Grace Quinn goal to give MSOE a 2-1 lead coming out of the halftime break, Claire Bradford tallied back-to-back goals less than three minutes apart, a three-goal swing for the Raiders in the first five minutes of the second half.
- Quinn and Bradford would each tally one more goal, while Kuhn would finish with three assists on the way to the 6-3 win. Starting goalkeeper Page Sanchez recorded three saves while allowing two past.
