MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) athletics is excited to announce the hiring of
Sydney Large as the head coach of the women's rowing team.
"We are pleased to announce that Sydney is joining our Raider family " said Athletic Director
Bill Massoels. "Sydney brings a variety of high-level experience and I firmly believe our women's rowing team will benefit greatly from having her at the helm."
Large started her career at the University of Minnesota before finishing her career at University of Central Oklahoma, where she was a part of the 2023 National Runner-Up team. Large has also served as a coach at the Texas Rowing Center, where she helped lead her team to a Texas State Championship, and at RIVERSPORT in Oklahoma City.
"I'm extremely excited and honored to be stepping into this role to work with current MSOE student-athletes and continue to grow the MSOE Women's Rowing program" said Large. "MSOE has a high level of excellence and plays an important role in the Milwaukee community, I look forward to working with the administration to create a program that is focused on building a team of leaders on and off the water."
