MARIETTA, Ohio. – The MSOE Rowing teams set program records on Saturday, as both the men's and women's eights posted team-best times in some of their first races of the spring season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the women's record setting effort, the Red and White's crew of Ava Pike, Allison Bauer, Grace Ivey, Isabella Blair, Johanna Glinz, Duaa Aljalous, Ainelise Manzke and Jen Miller were led by coxswain Keith Perona as they raced down the course at a blazing pace, posting a new program best time of 6:34.35 as they topped the previous record from the Jefferson Dad Vail Regettas.
- On the men's side, the Raiders posted their program record in a one-on-one drag race with the University of Wisconsin as coxswain Siena Carli led MSOE's crew of Liam Otten, Asuka Suzuki, Andre DeWet-Daniels, Garin Schilling, David Frenkel, Michael Zsykowski, Jacob Borowczak and Ryan LeMay to a record-setting time of 5:51.30 in their first official race of the spring season.
WHO'S ON DECK
The women's team will be back in action on Saturday, March 28
th when they head to the University of Central Oklahoma, while the men's team will head to the Devil's Lake Invite on Saturday, April 4
th.
