LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The MSOE women's rowing team opened the spring portion of their season on Saturday afternoon, hitting water for the first time in 2026. The Raiders showed little signs of rust as they took 2
nd place in both of their 8+ races in their return.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first run of the Women's Varsity 8+, the Raiders crew of Grace Ivey, Allison Bauer, Ava Pike, Isabella Blair, Kaliska Klusmeyer, Johanna Glinz, Duaa Aljalous and Jen Miller was joined by coxswain Lexy Mayo as they posted a time of 7:53.9, beating out Pacific University in the three team race as the Red and White took 2nd place.
- The second Women's Varsity 8+ run saw Ainelise Manzke joining the Raiders crew in the 4 seat, with MSOE finishing the course in a time of 7:57.4, good enough for another 2nd place finish in Lakewood.

The Raiders will head to Marietta, Ohio for a head-to-head matchup with Marietta College on Saturday, March 21
