MEQUON, Wis. – The front pack dominance and overall victory for
Adam Shaw led the MSOE men's cross country to defeating the No. 1 team in the country and victory to kick off their season at the Ken Weidt Classic, hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Shaw recorded his first career victory on the grass, winning the race in a career best time 25:29.7, twenty seconds ahead of the second-place runner. Kolby Dax and Xander Gottner finished in third and fourth place, running 25:55.1 and 26:05.5, respectively. Ryan Alyassir was next in for the Raiders in seventh place in 26:46.0, while rounding out the scoring was Calder Bica Harrison in 16th, running 26:49.1.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders return to the starting line next Saturday, September 21
st, for the Tom Hoffman Invitational, hosted by University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The start time is set for 10:45 AM.
