WHITEWATER, Wis. – Going up against one of the top teams in the country for the second straight week,
Adam Shaw and
Xander Gottner had top five finishes to give the MSOE men's cross country team a second place finish at the Tom Hoffman Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Shaw led the Raiders for the second straight week, finishing in fourth in 25:53.8, with Gottner coming in the shoot right after him in fifth running 26:04.9.
Kolby Dax was next in for the Raiders in 12
th running 26:42.8, followed by
Sam McPeak in 14
th running 26:55.9, a new personal best and his first time in the Raiders top five. Rounding out the scoring was
Patrick Lee in 19
th place, running 27:11.8.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will be off next weekend before they get a regionals preview at the Running of the Cows, hosted by Carleton College, on Saturday, October 5th. Start time is set for 11:30 AM.
