INDIANOLA, Iowa – MSOE women's soccer took on the Storm of Simpson College on Sunday afternoon, as the Raiders fell 4-1 against a Simpson team that was receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After limited action to kick off the contest, MSOE's (3-1-0) Addison Spilman would put on a shot on goal at the 7:02 mark of the first half that would prove to be one of the only opportunities for the Raiders on the offensive end, as Simpson (3-0-1) smothered the MSOE attack and held them to only two shots on goal in 90 minutes of action.
- The Storm would record two goals in a span of less then two minutes as Simpson would lead MSOE at the half 2-0. The Storm would outshoot the Raiders twelve to five in the contest as Page Sanchez recorded two clutch saves down the stretch of the first half to keep MSOE in the mix.
- Maggie Thillman would get the Raiders on the board ten minutes into the second half thanks to an assist from Claire Bradford, as Bradford improved her point streak to four games. The Storm would continue to stifle the Raiders, and after Simpson goals in the 78th and 81st minute, the deficit was too much for the Red and White to overcome.
