MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's volleyball team kicked their home slate inside the Kern Center Friday evening, hosting Augustana College. The Raider offensive was efficient as ever, hitting .390 as they roll past the Vikings in three sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Things were neck and neck at the start a kill from Callan Harris kickstarted a 4-0 run to put MSOE (1-3, 0-0 NACC) ahead 17-12 midway through. Augustana (4-3, 0-0 CCIW) didn't have a fighting chance from there, especially after Antonio Llona Baez teamed up with Harris for a block and then went to the service line and record two aces to seal the first set for the Red & White 25-16.
- The Raiders did not let up when the second set started, as Harris and Tommy Clausz went to work and put the Raiders ahead 10-4 early. The lead slowly grew to eight after Llona Baez connected on a kill from Parker Rings but was cut to three late, 22-19. Matthew Schultz was having zero business to let things stay tight as he rattled off the final two points to take the set 25-20.
- The Vikings used the momentum they created in the previous set, keeping things with a point as the Raiders led 9-8. The Red & White offense went on an explosion and went on a 11-2 run that closed with Harris burying balls at the net. After the Vikings could only pick up two more points off service errors, the Raiders put the final nail in the coffin when James Zippay added the seventh service of the night to seal it 25-12.
