FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 93
Lakeland - 71
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lakeland (3-10, 2-4 NACC) emerged early after a three-pointer put them ahead 11-4 four minutes in until a layup from Isaac Wit gave MSOE (8-5, 4-2 NACC) their first lead of the game with just over 12 minutes to play in the first half. The two traded leads over the next few minutes before Donovan Carter nailed a three from Chase Cummings, taking a 25-22 lead with nine minutes remaining in the half. The Muskies went on a run of their own, taking a four-point lead until three and a half minutes in the half when the Raiders had a lead as large as seven before heading into the break leading 42-38.
- The Raiders grew its lead to double-digits Joey Jendusa found Cummings on the fastbreak for three to make it 59-47. The Muskies could only bring their deficit back to single-digits a handful of times as regulation came closer, but Mason Dopirak led a 16-4 run that the Raiders closed on to absolutely put away the Muskies to seal it.
