MEQUON, Wis. – The MSOE women's volleyball team dropped a three-set decision on Saturday, making the short trip up to Concordia University Wisconsin. The Falcons
totaled eight service aces, with seven of those coming in the first two sets, along with hitting .314 in the final set while couldn't find a rhythm offensively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin (6-11, 3-2 NACC) rattled MSOE (4-13, 2-3 NACC) early, making three blocks to grab an 8-2 lead early. Ana Knutson brought the Raiders life adding three kills but couldn't close the early margin to drop the first set 25-15.
- Gillian McDaniel created an early spark in set two, making a pair of kills early on to give them a 4-2 lead. After the Falcons immediately answered to take a 9-5 lead but kills from Knutson and Abby Balkema helped get the Raiders to within one at 9-8. The serving from the Falcons became lethal as they nailed four service aces, including three straight to win the set 25-16.
- The Falcons after getting the early edge in the third set was able to hold it as Knutson kept the Raiders in down 15-13 midway through. The Falcons went into full throttle, going on a 9-1 run as they were eventually able to get the final point to win 25-16.
