RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 0
Wisconsin Lutheran - 3
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-18, 2-6 NACC) was able to snag an early lead after a kill from Ashley Murphy and an ace from Alyssa Rusch put them up 5-2. Wisconsin Lutheran (10-12, 6-2 NACC) fought back to take a 6-5 lead before the two traded leads with Sydney Emineth leading the charge offensively. The Warriors then went on an 8-0 which let them roll with the momentum to take the first set 25-15.
- The Warriors did not let up to begin the second set, roaring to a 12-3 lead to begin. A pair of errors kept the Raiders in the set, but the margin was too large as the Warriors took it 25-15. The Warriors continued to start hot to begin the third, taking a 7-0 lead to begin. Back-to-back kills from Brenna Fledderman helped the Raiders cut it to a one-point deficit but that was the slimmest they could make it as the Warriors began to take off to seal it 25-18.
