HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Neither side gained an edge early until midway through when the serving from Katie Moser became lethal, nailing three straight to give MSOE (6-18, 4-6 NACC) a 20-15 lead. After taking a 22-19 advantage, Marian (3-21, 2-8 NACC) closed on a 6-0 run to steal the set 25-22. The Raiders came out of the gates in set two on a mission, taking a lead as large as nine at the midway point. Hitting .476 for the set, the Raiders closed with ease as Sydney Emineth knocked in a kill to take the set 25-10.
- Continuing to hold momentum, the Raiders led 8-4 to begin the third after an ace from Gillian McDaniel. The Sabres fought back in an instant, going on an 8-0 run to take a 14-9 lead. The Raiders fought back to cut it to a one-point deficit three different times, but couldn't move past to fall short, 25-22. The Sabres in the fourth set took the lead early on and held it until 22-17. From there, Moser went on a killing spree, connecting on four, including the final kill to cap an 8-0 run to force a fifth set, 25-22.
- Alyssa Rusch took over to begin the fifth, making two kills early to keep the momentum on the side of the Red & White. Two more from Rusch after the flipping of the side put them ahead 11-6. Errors from the Sabres late cost them to help the Raiders finish off the thriller, as they took the final set 15-9.
