MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's basketball team couldn't slow down the shooting from Carroll University, who shot 53.6% from the field and 13 three-pointers as they fell at home Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mason Dopirak got hot from the opening tip, knocking in seven of the first nine points as MSOE (1-3, 0-0 NACC) and Carroll (3-3, 0-0 CCIW) went back and forth early. After the score was tied at 11, Matus Dopirak hit back-to-back shots to make the score 16-11 before he and Isaac Wit nailed three pointers to give the Raiders six-point leads at the halfway point. The Pioneers became lethal from behind the arch, as they hit nine total in the first half to lead 50-37 at the break.
- Back-to-back threes from Mason cut the lead back to single digits to open the second half but the Pioneers quickly brought the game back to double digits. With 13:07 remaining, Mason brought the game back to under single digits with Chase Cummings hit back-to-back shots to bring it to within four with 10:19 to go. Still single digits with 7:33 to go, the Pioneers began to pull away to seal the game.
