MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced the all-conference award winners for the 2025 baseball season, with MSOE earning ten honors and the coaching staff headed by
Adrian Santiago being named coaching staff of the year.
Santiago in his first season with his first season with the Raiders has carried the momentum from the previous season as the Red & White won the regular season conference title for the second straight season. The Raiders have found their success with a different formula this season, leading the country with 196 stolen bases so far and averaging 4.90 a game. The Raiders after heading into the bulk of conference play at 8-8 finished conference play with an 18-6 record, along with an impressive 14-5 home record.
The Raiders claimed four first-team honors with
Christian Bosque,
Jack Kalitowski,
Joe Stried, and
Kellen Pate. Bosque leads the team with a .353 batting average and 40 RBIs, along with 32 stolen bases and 20 extra base hits. Bosque had a perfect 4-for-4 day in game two over Dominican on April 12
th, along with four stolen bases against North Park on April 21
st. Kalitowski leads the team with 34 stolen bases, a new school record, and hit .336 with 23 RBIs and 121 assists. Kalitowski also set a career high four RBIs in a massive comeback in game one at Edgewood on April 15
th. Stried stole 29 bases this season, hitting .315 with 103 assists. Leading the charge on the mound, Pate went 6-2 in eleven appearances with an ERA of 3.32 and 52 strikeouts. Pate tossed a complete game on the road at Rockford on April 19
th, along with going seven innings against No. 19 Babson in Florida allowing zero runs on four hits while striking out seven.
Three Raiders earned second-team honors with
Aagam Shah,
Jordan Skolmar, and
AJ Le. Shah was an integral part of the bullpen, making 13 appearances with an ERA of 4.26 and 13 strikeouts in 19 total innings. Skolmar led the team with six home runs as he hit .331 with 31 RBIs. Le was second on the team with a batting average of .350 and 38 RBIs and seven sacrifice flys.
Three Raiders earned honorable mention honors with
JJ Jackson,
AJ Hamilton, and
Zach Brzezinski. Jackson made his presence known both on the plate and on the mound, hitting .260 and 13 RBIs had a 2-0 record on the mound with an ERA of 3.38 and 21 strikeouts. Hamilton made six starts on the mound with a 3-2 record, striking out 27, while Brzezinski made eight starts with a 2-0 record and 25 strikeouts.
The Raiders will open the conference tournament tonight at 7:00 PM against the winner of No. 4 Benedictine and No. 5 Marian currently squared away at MSOE Raiders Stadium.
