HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (10-4-4, 8-1-3 NACC) looked to get an early lead on the Green Knights (6-5-7, 4-3-5 NACC) from the opening whistle, as Nico Picha recorded two shots in the opening ten minutes, but saw both go just wide of the net. At the 12:39 mark of the first half, Filip Aniecko would place a perfect free kick across the forehead of Diego Gonzalo, burying the ball in the goal as MSOE grabbed an early 1-0 lead. For the rest of the first half, both teams would struggle to muster much offense, with the Red and White maintaining their 1-0 lead at the half.
- Coming out of the break, the Raiders would extend their lead less than seven minutes into the second half, with Gonzalo playing helper this time around as Steven Thomas found the back of the net for the Red and White. Less than five minutes later, Picha would get on the board after a Ditar Useni assist helped pushed the MSOE lead to 3-0, as the Red and White emptied the bench with 28 different Raiders getting in on the fun in another shutout win for the 2026 team.
