LA CROSSE, Wis. – Sam McPeak and AJ Springer reset school records as the MSOE men's track & field team competed at the Phil Esten Challenge, hosted by University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

RECAP

• Springer took down the first school record of the day, running 1:51.38 to finish second and the top Division III athlete to now sit eighth nationally. McPeak followed an event later, taking second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:12.63, taking six seconds off his previous record, to now sit 11th nationally.
• Sam Sorenson finished sixth in the 110-meter hurdles, going 15.10 in the prelims and then 14.91 in the final. In the 1,500-meter run, Chase Nogalski dipped under the four-minute barrier for the first time in his career, going 3:59.42 to finish 11th. In the field, Elijah Villa and Ethan Wrasman each tossed outdoor personal bests in the shot put, going 15.15 meters and 15.06 meters.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will now prepare for the NACC Championship, beginning on May 1st at Wisconsin Lutheran College, with a bulk of the finals coming on the final day.
