HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (12–4, 8-2 NACC) and Beloit (5-9, 2-8 NACC) were scoreless through nearly the midway point of the first quarter, as Jack Civottolo opened the scoring at the 8:31 mark. The Raiders would record three goals in a span of 86 seconds, with Isaac Johnston tallying one more first quarter goal to put the Red and White ahead 5-0 after the first frame. The Raiders would add six more unanswered goals in the first half, with Beloit getting on the board with just over five minutes remaining in the half as MSOE led 12-1 at the break.
- Coming out of halftime, the Raiders picked up right where they left off, never taking their foot off the gas. Alec Neuharth would add a man-down goal for the Red and White, as MSOE began to run away with the game. Dawson Smith and Will Malecha would each record a hat trick, while every single goalie for the Raiders would get in on the action. With one game left in the regular season, the Raiders locked up their eighth conference win, with a chance to clinch a home playoff game next in the regular season finale.
