WHITEWATER, Wis. – A group of Raiders went to Whitewater on Saturday for the Drake Alternative as
Sam Sorenson broke a school record while
Jessa Alderman was the lone champion on the day in their final tune up before the NACC Championships.
MEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Sorenson broke the school record in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing in third and the top Division III athlete with a time of 14.61, now sitting 37th nationally. Over in the throws, William Tate took second in the discus with a toss of 49.74 meters, a new personal best and remains at the top of the conference in the event. Ethan Wrasman added a season best in the shot put to finish third with 15.19 meters.
WOMEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Alderman won the shot put with a toss of 14.60 meters. Josephine Jacklin added a fourth-place finish in the discus, heaving it 43.02 meters to now sit 35th nationally. Jacklin also added a fourth-place finish in the javelin with 31.09 meters, while Kylie Crum led the group in the hammer throw with 46.37 meters.

st at Wisconsin Lutheran, with a bulk of the finals coming on Saturday, May 2
