VERONA, Wis. – The MSOE women's soccer team took on Edgewood University on Wednesday night, as the Raiders and Eagles played to a scoreless draw in a defensive-minded battle.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (3-2-4, 1-0-2 NACC) had what might have been their best scoring chance on the Eagles (2-4-2, 2-0-1 NACC) just 69 seconds into the game, with a Claire Bradford shot hitting the crossbar, before the senior captain drove a follow-up shot wide right. The Red and White would have a flurry of scoring chances across the first half, with Kiley Schmitt, Faith Papazoglou, Hadleigh Ostrenga, Jillian Kellum and Macie Herting all seeing shots stopped by the Edgewood goalkeeper, while Alexis Jamiola saw the second MSOE shot of the night rejected by the crossbar. Despite outshooting the Eagles sixteen to nothing in the first half, both teams would remain scoreless after the first 45 minutes of play.
- In the second half, the Raiders offensive chances would slow down, with Bradford being stopped by the Edgewood goalie once again in the Red and White's first shot on goal of the half. Coming down the stretch, Reagan Burkemper would be turned away by the Edgewood defense as the Raiders and Eagles concluded with a scoreless draw. Despite the Raiders unlucky day on offense, MSOE defense and goalkeeper Teya Baxter would keep their scoreless streak alive, with Baxter currently sitting at 435 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal.
