MONTGOMERY, Ill. – The MSOE women's soccer team travel for some Friday Night Lights action in a conference matchup against Aurora University. The Raiders put pressure on the Spartans early on and never looked back, for their first road win in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-2-4, 2-0-2 NACC) came out of the gates firing shots, totaling 14 compared to Aurora (1-7-0, 0-4-0 NACC) only getting off two, both of which on target for Teya Baxter to save. In the eleventh minute, Kit Gormley would take a corner kick for the Raiders, sending it in for McKinley Collins to play inside to Faith Papazoglou for the opposite corner for an early 1-0 lead. Later in the first half, Collins would her opportunity for a goal as Kiley Schmitt sent a corner into a mess of Spartans infront of the goal from Collins to sneak in to send up high, making it 2-0 at the break.
- Coming out of the halftime break, Ayla Zuzek would find herself in net for the Red & White, continuing to the dominance that Baxter held, making two saves to keep the Spartans off the board. Late in the game as the Raiders continued to control the ball and limit the Spartans chances, Macie Herting sent a long pass down to Samantha Biesterfeld for her to streak down the field and send opposite corner to cap off the shutout.
