LA CROSSE, Wis. – The MSOE women's soccer team squared off with the #11 ranked team in all of DIII as the Red and White clash with the UW-La Crosse Eagles. The Raiders would fall to their nationally ranked foe after two first half goals from the Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-3-4, 2-0-2 NACC) recorded the first shot of the game of the foot of Claire Bradford, but the Red and White fell behind the Eagles (9-0-0) after La Crosse put themselves on the scoreboard just 9:13 into the game. The Eagles would follow up with their second goal after recording four straight shots on goal against the Raiders, as UW-La Crosse would hold their 2-0 lead at the break after MSOE saw shots from Natalie Braun and Sarai DeSouza go wide.
- Coming out of the halftime break, Bradford would see another shot go just wide, before the Eagles followed up a rebounding shot to push their lead to 3-0. Following the ensuing kickoff, Bradford would set up Shealan Biniam for the freshman's first career goal, putting the Raiders on the board at the 56:44 mark.
- Despite a shot on goal down the stretch from Katie Owens, The Eagles would tally a fourth goal with just under four minutes left to play, putting the game out of reach for the Red and White after going toe-to-toe with one of the top teams in the nation.
