DePERE, Wis. – The MSOE hockey team saw the regular season come to an end with a 4-0 loss to No. 1 St. Norbert Friday night at the Cornerstone Center.

The Raiders (14-10-1, 9-10-1 NCHA) finish the conference season with 19 points and hold a two-point lead over Lawrence for the final bid into the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs next week. If the Vikings lose to or tie Lake Forest Saturday, MSOE advances to the playoffs and will play at St. Scholastica Wednesday.

After a scoreless first period, the Green Knights (21-2-2, 17-2-1 NCHA) scored two goals in each of the final two periods to skate to the win. In the final period, play leveled off a bit, but St. Norbert added to their lead at 10:52 on a man advantage and with 45 seconds remaining.

The Raiders conceded a 28-12 shot advantage in the game. They conceded eight power plays in total to SNC, while going 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
