Box Score MILWAUKEE – It's good to be home. After a tough four game stretch on the road, MSOE men's hockey was back on the ice at the Kern Center and took it to St. Mary's (Minn.) by scoring six and allowing none in the Raiders first win of the month.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- This was a much-needed contest for MSOE (3-6-2, 1-4-1 NCHA). The Raiders were in firm control from the start even though neither team scored in the first period. The home squad allowed just four St. Mary's (4-8-1) shots in the first 20.
- The Red & White tallied four goals in the second with Nigel Nelson, CJ Kline, Garrett Gintoli, and Matt Hanewall finding the back of the net.
- Christian Sabin added another goal for the Raiders in the third before Gintoli scored his second of the game to close out the action for MSOE.
- The Red & White allowed the Cardinals to get off just 14 shots in the contest, all of which were stopped by Darius Bell for his first career shutout in a Raiders uniform.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have now won five straight against St. Mary's (Minn.) and are 9-4-1 against the Cardinals in the series history.
- Ten different Raiders (CJ Kline, Hayden Dalton, David Marabella, Nigel Nelson, Garrett Gintoli, Tanner Dalton, Stuart Harley, Kyle Herbster, Matt Hanewall, Dylan Hadfield) registered an assist this evening.
- Tonight was the first MSOE shutout since January 3, 2019.
