Men's Team
After another victorious team weekend, the men have shown to have top level depth throughout the events list. This weekend at Ripon, the Raiders will get a glimpse of how they could stack up against other NACC schools ahead of the Indoor Conference Championships which will also held in Ripon.
Events To Watch
- 60 Meter Dash
- Last Time Out: Evan Ploeckelman 2nd (7.03)
- Both Ploeckelman and Isaac Hunter had high placing performances last weekend in both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash, with Ploeckelman running a two top 3 performance and Hunter finishing 2nd in the 200. This weekend, the two are the top two seeds in the 60-meter dash and hope to each dip under that seven second barrier.
- 3,000 Meter Run
- Last Time Out: Colby Branch 1st (9:00.15)
- The distance crew has had top performances all season for the Red & White and doesn't look to slow down this weekend either. The group of Raiders seeded 2-6 in the 3,000-meter run with Adam Shaw making the jump in the distance for the first time in his career to showcase more depth for the Raiders.
- Shot Put
- Last Time Out: Gavin Fritsch 2nd (14.05m)
- Fritsch and Keegan Rhodes went 2-3 in the shot put last weekend up at Stevens Point and are seeded right there again this weekend at Ripon. Ethan Wrasman and Elijah Villa also have opportunities to score points as well as they are seeded seven and eight, respectively.
Women's Team
Last weekend, the women saw multiple top finishes and a record-breaking performance. With just one more meet before the postseason, the Raiders look to tune up those fine details this weekend before a big showcase in two weeks at the NACC Indoor Conference Championship.
Events To Watch
- 400 Meter Dash
- Last Time Out: MacKenzie Bollis 4th (1:02.14)
- Week after week, Bollis has run personal bests in the 400-meter dash, dropping over a second since the start of the season. This weekend, Bollis is the top seeded time and looks to jump under the 1:02 mark and add a win to her successful season for far.
- Triple Jump
- Last Time Out: MacKenzie Caves 1st (10.89m)
- Caves added a victory last weekend in the triple jump, leading Gillian Spuhler and Gillian McDaniel to scoring positions as well in third and eighth, respectively. All three are in position to score points this weekend in the event, with as high as seeded third with Caves.
- Weight Throw
- Last Time Out: Elizabeth Mikkelson 2nd (15.59m)
- A record-breaking performance from Mikkelson led four other Raiders in scoring in the weight throw last weekend. At Ripon, Mikkelson is seeded second yet again and could add more distance to her school record, along with Ava Larson who could sneak in to score points for the Red & White as well.
