Men's Team
In their largest meet of the season last weekend at the Aurora Grand Prix, MSOE tied 7th place finish going up against many nationally ranked programs, with the help of producing many personal bests. In a much smaller field this weekend, the Raiders will look to keep their competitive edge going against a few in-state powers.
Events To Watch
- 200-meter dash
- Last Time Out – Isaac Hunter 17th (22.99)
- Hunter took on a very competitive field last weekend down at Gately Park in which a few sections before his saw a Division III national record. This weekend, he enters as the No. 1 seed in the event, while Evan Ploeckelman (22.79) is seeded third. Daniel Burant hopes to score points in the event as well for the Raiders, sittings two-tenths of a second off seventh.
- Mile
- Last Time Out – Brett Litkey 13th (4:26.74)
- Adam Shaw had a record-breaking performance last weekend at the 800-meter distance, shattering the school record with a 4th place finish (1:54.73). Stepping back up to the mile distance, Shaw looks to go after another school record while bringing along Brett Litkey, Landen Bratt, and Bryan Vale to personal bests and points for the Red & White.

- Last Time Out – No Marks This Season
- Tyler Brantner will make his season debut in the multis down at Carthage starting this afternoon. Brantner finished fourth a year ago at the NACC Indoor Championships and has set himself up this indoor season to improve upon is 4143-point total he recorded a year ago, especially as we move into championship season in just a few weeks.
Women's Team
Week after week, the women have shown growth in many areas of the team and performed very highly. Finishing 9th last weekend against top level talent in Division III, the Raiders left with many personal bests and confidence for the rest of the season to continue to grow.
Events To Watch
- Triple Jump
- Last Time Out – MacKenzie Caves 4th (11.08m)
- Caves leaped to a personal best jump in a fourth place finish last weekend and is seeded fourth again this weekend. Gillian Spuhler and Gillian McDaniel are also seeded to get points for the Red & White, seeded fifth and seventh respectively.
- Shot Put – Katrina
- Last Time Out – Katrina Wawrzyn 2nd (12.46m)
- Wawrzyn had the highest finish of any Raider last weekend with her second-place finish in the Shot Put, only behind Aubrey Schoeneman who is currently seventh nationally in the event. Wawrzyn hopes to lead three other Raiders to scoring in the event Saturday, the most out of any event this weekend.
- 3,000-meter run
- Last Time Out – Kaitlyn Rodman 5th (10:37.50)
- Rodman rebroke her second school record of the season last weekend stepping up to the 3,000-meter distance for the first time. Rodman, along with Molly Stewartt who hopes to break the 11 minute barrier, will lead two other Raiders with the top four seeds in a small 3,000-meter field.
