JOLIET, Ill. – After a fantastic weekend last week for both the men and women, the MSOE track & field teams took part in the two-day St. Francis Fighting Chance Meet, hosted by the University of St. Francis, highlighted by four different school records being rebroken.

MEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Looking to improve his mark nationally in the discus, Gavin Fritsch did just that having a new personal best and school record toss, going 50.91m on his final throw to finish fourth overall. Fritsch now sits 12th in the nation with just under a week left until entries are released. He wasn't done there as also reset his school record in the spot put with a throw of 15.31 meters to finish seventh overall.
- Another school record broken was the 4x100-meter relay just one week setting a new program best. The group of Isaac Hunter, Camden Nennig, Collin Hook, and Evan Ploeckelman ran 42.25, taking .08 off the previous record, finishing ninth overall.
WOMEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Just as she's done all season long, Elizabeth Mikkelson continues to rebreak his school record in the hammer throw, tossing 49.49m to finish fourth overall. Mikkelson now sits 44th overall in the event.
- Mikkelson also lead a string of many seasonal bests in the throws as she added another in the discus, tossing 39.60 meters. Sydney Thomas also tossed a seasonal best in the hammer with a throw of 43.16 meters, while Kendall Kritch added one as well in the javelin tossing 25.30 meters.

th.
