MILWAUKEE – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced the Academic All-District class for the 2024 season, with
Ana Knutson representing MSOE women's volleyball.
To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have played in at least 90 percent of the team's competition throughout the season or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
Knutson, a junior from Brookfield, was second on the team in kills per set (1.86) and third with blocks per set (.40). She recorded double-digit kills in five matches during the season, tying her career high of 16 in a reverse-sweep over Dominican University on October 5
th. She also set a career high at the net, recording eight blocks in a narrow loss at Aurora University on October 19
th.
The Raiders, who were voted 12
th in the conference preseason poll, finished with an overall record of 13-19, finishing with a 5-8 record in conference play to claim the final spot in the conference tournament, qualifying for the first time since 2021.
