MILWAUKEE – Heading into the 2025 season, the MSOE women's volleyball team has been voted eighth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) preseason poll, voted on by the league's head coaches and athletic communications professionals.
Defending champions Edgewood University led the poll with 18 first-place votes, followed by Aurora University in second with six votes and Concordia University Wisconsin in third with four votes. St. Norbert College and Lakeland University were voted fourth and fifth, while Benedictine University and Illinois Institute of Technology were voted sixth and seventh.
The Raiders improved from 12
th to 8
th last season to qualify for the NACC tournament for the first time since 2019. The Raiders return a vast majority of impact players, including
Emma Schattschneider, who was a first-team all-conference selection a season ago averaging 3.41 kills per set and 3.70 digs per set, along with
Ana Knutson who averaged 1.89 kills per set and 0.40 blocks per set in the middle.
The Raiders will head to the Rocky Mountains to begin season at the Pikes Peak Challenge, hosted by Colorado College on August 29
th and 30
th before coming home to host the Raider Classic on September 5
th and 6
th. The Red & White will kick off NACC action on September 25
th when they host Dominican University at 7:00 PM.
