OSHKOSH, Wis. – In their first year in the Midwest Conference, the MSOE mens swimming & diving team received a first-place team vote in the preseason poll, being voted fourth.
Grinnell College who won the championship a season ago led the poll receiving eight first-place votes, while St. Norbert College and Lake Forest College were neck and neck for second and third. Illinois College rounded out the top five in fifth.
The Raiders finished, competing in the Liberts Arts Conference a season ago, finished third at the Championship with numerous all-conference performers returning, including
Caleb Brewer who won the 200-yard butterfly and was second in the 100-yard butterfly and third in the 100-yard backstroke. The Raiders also return
Braedon Loeffelholz who led the distance events, along with
Joven Langseth who was a staple in the individual medleys.
The Raiders open their season on Saturday, October 4
th against Carroll University. The first event is set to start at 1:00 p.m.
