MILWAUKEE – The MSOE Women's Rowing team opened their season mere blocks from campus on Saturday, racing in the annual Milwaukee River Challenge through the heart of downtown.  The Raiders went on to post a top ten finish in the Women's Open 8+ with a time of 18:24.796.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- In the Women's Open 4+, the Raiders raced two boats among the twenty-six total in the field on the busy Saturday afternoon, with the Raiders boat of Ava Pike, Allison Bauer, Kaliska Klusmeyer, Madison Mina and the coxswain Keith Perona posted a time of 21:11.181, finishing in 19th place, the second best time for a DIII school behind only University of Chicago.
 
	- The Women's Open 8+ closed the day on a high note for the Raiders, who posted a top ten finish on the Milwaukee River with a time of 18:24.796.  The Red and White crew of Grace Ivey, Paige Phillips, Amaya Santacruz, Duaa Aljalous, Ainelise Manzke, Mia Siedentopf, Isabella Blair and Jen Miller featured Perona in the coxswain seat once more as MSOE left University of Chicago in the dust, finishing over 90 seconds faster than their lone DIII competetion in the race.

th in Rockford, Illinois for the Head of the Rock Regatta.
