LoGuidice would make it 2-0 on the power play, as the Raiders were playing a man up after a five minute game misconduct midway through the period. LoGiudice's goal came at 15:44 and was assisted by senior Logan Bauman and freshman Jerad Tafoya.
LeBeau and Unser hooked up again in the third period with an insurance goal, as LeBeau struck again at 14:23 to make it 3-0. Freshman Patrick Dwyer also assisted on the goal.
Woodman was making his second collegiate start and third appearance of the season. His scoreless night followed up 41:56 of scoreless hockey off the bench Jan. 17 against Lawrence. He's now gone nearly 109 minutes without allowing a goal.
With the win, MSOE (8-6, 16 points) pulls into a virtual tie for the No. 4 seed in the NCHA standings with St. Scholatica (7-4-2, 16 pts), which hosts Northland later in the evening. The top four seeds open the Harris Cup Playoffs Feb. 20-22 with a home series.
