Box Score MILWAUKEE – Senior Nick Manning had 18 kills on .727 attacking to pace the MSOE men's volleyball team to a sweep of Loras, 25-15, 25-12, 25-20, Sunday afternoon at the Kern Center.
The Raiders (15-10, 6-5 MCVL) hit an outstanding .528 for the match in sweeping aside the Duhawks (3-18, 1-11 MCVL) for the second time this season.
Manning's 18 kills came on just 22 attacks with two errors in the match. Sophomore Logan Baerenwald had 10 kills and attacked .444, while freshman Neil Naughton finished with eight kills, no errors and a .667 attacking clip.
Dylan Ross paced Loras with eight kills.
MSOE was never threatened in the match, hitting .560 to take the first set and .550 to take the second. On the other end, the Red & White limited the Duhawks to .077 hitting in the opening frame and a -.095 clip in the second.
The Raiders tallied 45 kills over the three sets and committed just seven errors on the day. Freshman Quin Krisik played just two sets and directed the offense with 26 assists, while freshman Andrew Miller notched 12 assists in the third set.
Krisik's day pushed his season assist total to 1041, second in school history and 145 back of the school record with three regular season matches left.
Loras hit just .093 in the match.
MSOE hits the road next weekend, playing at Fontbonne Friday and No. 14 Mount St. Joseph.
